Leather Books

A few of these leather bindings are made using a traditional quarter or half leather binding (and are cased in).  Most, however, would be considered a ‘modern’ quarter bound leather book. Rather than being a cased in binding, the signatures (bundles of pages) are stitched directly to the leather spine, allowing the decorative element of the stitching to be seen along the spine edge. They make a perfect ‘chapbook’ for poetry, or for special journaling.
